FOUNDATION AUTOMOTIVE is seeking a talented and experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our team at Jones Chevrolet (Humboldt)to manage the account payable process.
In this position, you will be responsible for reconciling statements and issuing payments to vendors.

Responsibilities:
Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
Prepares accounts payable checks.
Posts all open items in accounts payable daily.
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
Reconciles cash schedule.
Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager.
Analyzes vendor accounts.
Answers all vendor inquiries.
Assists in monthly closings.
Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
Perform accounts receivable duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with automotive industry payment processes and customer relationships is a plus.
Dealertrack and/or Reynolds & Reynolds Experience is a plus.
