Cafe Eclectic is looking to hire experienced Breakfast Line Cooks.
We are a 90% breakfast restaurant so preferably cooks with breakfast experience are a plus! We are seeking individuals to staff our midtown location.
Knowledge of how to work Fryer station, Grill Station, Egg Station and Expo station are all a plus.
Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, clear head under pressure and positive attitudes.
Egg cooking and correct egg temps a must have!!
Our pay includes daily tip out from our guest.
WE START AT $13 PER HOUR but are willing to negotiate starting pay.
Our Line Cooks receive a daily cash tip out from our kitchen appreciation program.

In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet our exact specifications.
You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
* Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
* Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
* Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
* Stock inventory and supplies.
* Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Aptitude for multi-tasking.
* Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
Job Duties:
* Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications
* Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
* Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
* Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
* Restock items as needed throughout the shift
* Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
