Description
Provide comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions.
Work with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications.
Lead the analysis and evaluation of application functionality and provide recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities.
Use experience in Order to Cash, Procure to Pay end-to-end processes for heavy volume parts distribution site with expertise in Order Management, Shipping, Pricing, Inventory, Purchasing, Finance and Reverse Logistics.
Utilize experience in Warehouse processes, Bills of Materials and Work Order module and GOMS (Global Order Management System) processes unique to Aftermarket, Sales & Service, CORE Processing areas for very high-volume locations.
Perform Solution Assessment and Validation to assess proposed solutions in order to determine how closely they meet requirements and if they will deliver the desired business outcomes.
Lead the determination and documentation of optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications.
Configure and verify complex application setup and configuration.
Remain current on emerging application and solution trends and functionality and provide functional expertise for assigned applications and systems.
Perform complex analysis of requirements in order to identify the relationships and interdependencies between requirements, prioritize requirements, and predict likelihood of success.
Utilize experience in ERP Implementations - configuration and customization of GOMS applications for business process mapping and integrating GOMS with WMS and corporate systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders regarding contract negotiations using Agile methodologies for continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors and work with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve difficult functionality issues.
Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts and architects to gather, document and review functional, architecture and technical requirements and define application functional designs.
Provide Level 3 support to business users to ensure timely resolution of issues and utilize experience in Oracle SQL and knowledge of Oracle Forms and Report, Unix, Appworx, Visio, ServiceNow in order to effectively work with development team and other integrating systems such as EDI and Oracle Middleware.
Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support.
Apply industry defined System Development Methodologies to create and modify IT solutions.
Lead the creation and management of functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.

Experience and Education:
Positions require a Master’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Software Developer, Project Coordinator or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Software Developer, Project Coordinator or related position.
