Military MEP-004a 18kw diesel generator.
This generator is currently setup 3 phase 120v-208v or 240v-480v but I can convert it to single phase 240v if needed for home backup power.
This generator was completely refurbished by the military in 2007 and currently has 470 hours.
Powered by a White 4 cylinder diesel and brushless generator head.
The generator also comes with the pintle hitch trailer.
I load tested this unit to 18kw for 4 hours.
All new fluids, filters and batteries.
These generators will run 20,000 hours plus before a rebuild is needed.
Most people buy these for commercial buildings or larger homes.
