Position Summary
Works under general direction to prepare payment plans, provide information, support and counseling to debtors; prepare reports, evaluations, and documents on defendants and their cases.

One (1) of year experience in data processing or statistical experience; or closely related field; and
2.
Two (2) years of college study (60 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) from an accredited college or university; OR
3.
An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.

PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.
Verifies, enters, and executes garnishments and levies on unpaid costs and judgments.
2.
Collects and posts payments for court costs, garnishments, and executions.
3.
Arranges installment payments with debtors.
4.
Investigates delinquent accounts.
5.
Transfers and updates information to include building cases and recording motions.
6.
Reviews and assigns available court dates for motions.
7.
Sets motions and notifies parties of court dates.
8.
Researches and responds to inquiries from the public and from officers of the court.
9.
Prints docket reports on older cases.
10.
Calculates, prepares, and connects statements of due and unpaid court costs.
11.
Transfers funds in and out of deposit, escrow, and judgment.
12.
Assists with the training of new employees.
13.
Performs other related duties as required or directed.

Knowledge of laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations affecting the record-keeping operations of a department and skill in applying them.
