Title: Loan Representative
Department: Loan Services
Reports To: Loan Services Manager

Internal Pay Grade: 9
Responsibilities:
Serve our members.
Properly evaluate income documentation, collateral valuation reports including home appraisals, and other supporting documentation needed to complete a loan request after initial underwriting.
Maintain up to date knowledge on features and benefits of consumer, real estate and business lending products including ancillary products such as GAP, debt protection, and warranty.
Recommend additional/alternative loan products that may benefit members supporting our mission statement during every member contact.
Keep members informed of loan status throughout the loan process as needed.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that shows confidence, confidentiality and professionalism with members, vendors, co-workers, and management.
Must maintain strictly confidential information pertaining to the Credit Association, member, and employee business.
Maintain a member centric culture with lending team.
Maintains regulatory compliance including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Follow the CARE and QA Service Standards and maintain an excellent understanding of FECA products and services.
Participates in ongoing training for professional and personal development.
Maintains a positive, professional attitude and collaborates well with a team.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience required.
At least one year of financial institution experience required, with credit union experience preferred.
At least three years of lending experience required, including both consumer and home equity.
Excellent written and verbal communication and basic math skills.
Must be accurate, organized, attentive to details, and manage time well.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
