*Job Description*
At Sanders Supply, we have a counter sales position open for someone who enjoys working days and being off on nights and weekends.
Also, there will be some warehouse duties to break up the routine.
Sanders Supply is a fast-growing company with locations in six states, and we are looking for motivated team members who want to grow with us.
*Duties include:*
* Service customers at the counter by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately
* Provide product, pricing and availability information to customers
* Follow company pricing and credit guidelines
* Solve or find someone to quickly solve customers’ problems
* Retrieve orders from warehouse quickly and accurately
* Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items as well as new products
* Handle customer complaints and returns, while showing a positive attitude
* Keep merchandising and counter areas clean and attractive
* Keep counter area inventory stocked; remove or add inventory items to stimulate impulse sales
* Assist with inventory cycle counts
* Drive sales activity through outbound sales calls as directed by management
* Participate in company-sponsored sales promotions
* Work with other departments to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner
* Warehouse duties as assigned
* Accurately use order entry, computerized systems and other technologies as required
* Perform other job duties as required by management
* Follow company policies and procedures
* Attend product training meetings
*Qualifications:*
* Sales experience in a parts counter setting preferred.
* Positive attitude.
* Enjoy working with others.
Must be able to physically do warehouse type work when not working the counter.
*Additional notes:*
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
