Develop, lead and manage the internal and external communications activities such as intranet site, app notifications, flyers and newsfeed-posts.
This includes content creation and content management for the purpose of keeping patient-families informed.
Assist in initiatives and oversee projects including managing project-work, executing project-tasks, collecting and analyzing patient-family feedback, holding focus groups and assisting in data-analysis.
This position is hybrid - located in Memphis, TN Job Responsibilities: Research, write, and edit diverse communication materials such as newsletters, announcements, patient communications, newsfeed posts, videos, webinars, workbooks, infographics, etc.
Integrate graphics, videos and other visual assets into communications materials, including development of visual materials and engagement of professional graphic designers as needed.
Develop and manage database of communications materials and other key information.
Work with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and St.
Jude patient-families and staff on content for communications.
Collaborate and build relationships with internal and external partners such as communications department, external graphic design teams, information services, conferencing office, and other teams to develop communications strategies and materials and maintaining the integrity of the patient app newsfeed Create effective content based on changing needs to communicate information to patient-families through various media.
Stay up to date on changes occurring on and off campus that may impact patient-families and create and distribute empathetic and informational content accordingly.
Monitor changes occurring on and off campus that impact patient-families, creating informational content for patient, families and staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the institution.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, digital marketing, English, healthcare, education, or related field is required.
Master's preferred.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of experience in writing and creating creative content is required.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar products required.
Experience in health care environment preferred.
