Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing and measuring internal and external marketing strategies for our brand.
As a key member of the marketing department, you will be responsible for project management, trafficking marketing campaigns, and supporting various initiatives.
The Marketing Coordinator assists the VP, Marketing with public relations activities and manages the social media outlets for LEO Events.
This role is also responsible for efficiently managing administrative tasks that are integral to the success of our marketing and business development activities.
The ideal candidate will possess exemplary project management and communications skills.
The position is required to work from a Memphis, Chattanooga, or Nashville, TN office 5 days/week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Manage social media outlets for the company, including LEO Events, LEO Destinations, Jay Uiberall Foundation, and LEO Gives.
Manage trafficking of all Marketing department initiatives by monitoring statuses and due dates for all campaigns, projects, award submissions, and internal and external communications.
Maintain updated media lists for local and national publications.
Handle gifting processes, including sourcing, building briefs, pricing, fulfillment, and inventory management.
Gather information for newsletters and assist with the creation of case studies and blog posts.
Monitor local and industry publications to ensure online company profiles, logos, photos, and videos are continuously up-to-date.
Coordinate internal events and provide support for crew letters, travel bookings, and communication with various departments.
Coordinate marketing photography sessions.
Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices.
Execute special projects to support marketing and business development activities.

Other administrative, business development, and marketing duties, as assigned.
On-site support for trade shows and internal events; occasional client program support.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or relevant field of study or equivilant work experience 1-3 years experience in marketing or the events industry Demonstrated expertise in navigating social media platforms and effectively creating content.
Proficiency in Asana or similar project management tools.
Competencies: Experience in project management and communications.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Collaborative spirit Excellent time-management and organizational skills Confidence to work closely with senior leadership, marketing managers, and key stakeholders.
Ability to work on multiple projects daily in a very fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for on-site support including nights and weekends, as needed.
Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands: Employee required to spend a portion of time in a seated position looking at a computer screen.
Employee will be required to do some standing and walking.
Employee will be in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
Must be able to bend and lift at least 25 pounds.
