As a Technical Account Manager with AWC, you will work directly with our technology partners and develop a deep understanding of their products.
You will interact with our sales team, engineering team and our customers to understand their applications and discuss how technology can be implemented for improvement.
You will strive to leverage agile design and development methods to create greater value faster and help our project teams execute to deliver as promised, on time and within budget.
The successful candidate must be innovative, passionate, and resourceful while demonstrating technical skills.

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to work with us to build a local team of employee-owners, passionate about delivering better Automation and Control solutions in Memphis TN.
Our scope of products, support and services cover the full spectrum of Automation and Control solutions from process instrumentation and automated valves to instrumentation, steam systems, Control PLCs and DCS.
This position will be geographically based in Memphis and has a salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 and has the potential for 6 figure + total compensation.
The Job
Communicate how to implement technical solutions with some of our key accounts
Work with our inside and outside sales team to implement word-class technology solutions
Grow revenue through technical sales strategies for the following products/technologies: Pressure/Temperature/Level/Flow Instrumentation, Quarter-turn Valves, Control Valves, and Pressure Management
Develop Bills-Of-Material based on customer requirements
Working knowledge of process Instrumentation, Valves and Control Systems
Experience with CAPEX projects and MRO activities
Leadership interests and agility
Desire to learn and guide others to build their expertise and solve problems
Hunger to build a business through caring, knowledgeable, friendly service
Basic Qualifications
2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
Self-starter / strong team player
Organizational and prioritizing skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks at fast pace
Strong written and verbal communications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Honeywell Instrumentation, Experion PKS, TDC 3000/2000, HC900, ControlEdge, and/or ENRAF products.
2 year of technical sales experience
BS Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering
