Brand Manager Job Offer
The Brand Manager will work with the merchandising team to develop a brand strategy for select private label brands, overseeing branding, communication channels, product development, online and offline promotions, distribution, and market research.
While reporting to the Director of Merchandising, the Brand Manager will also coordinate with the marketing and other cross-functional teams to execute a creative vision that reinforces the Hollywood Feed brands’ purpose, personality, and beliefs and maintain consistency during creation of brand collateral including retail packaging, digital outreach, digital and in-store marketing, and more.
The Brand Manager will work to meet business objectives and advance our brand strategy on time and within budget.
A Brand Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, completion of the below:
Stay up-to-date on job and product knowledge by researching, reading, studying educational opportunities online, market research, etc
Make final decisions on copy, art, commercials, video, etc.
as it relates to assigned brands
Develop plans for multichannel marketing in new and current markets using research on the best way to reach our customers and prospecting customers
Serve as subject matter expert in the brand/brands and work with our team to generate content that helps stores promote and sell products we offer including informational videos, infographics, educational emails, engaging social media posts, helpful in-store media, etc.
Oversee creative guidelines and ensure our brand standards are met with each piece of media we create for assigned brands
Lead in the development and execution of category-specific multi-channel plans and promotions that are customer-centric and based on competitive analysis, consumer insights/segmentation research, customer analytics and business performance.
Collaborate with internal supply chain and accounting partners as well as external parties in daily maintenance of assigned brands.
Conduct regular, strategic meetings with cross functional leadership to proactively communicate solution-based challenges and brand updates
Maintain and optimize current product listings ensuring accurate customer facing information and content
Keep cross-team private label brand projects on schedule, while prioritizing and escalating as needed.
Responsible for financial results by using provided KPI analyses to better understand the category and improve sales and margin.
Keeping key items in stock, maintaining, and adjusting order levels
Interacting with suppliers or vendors for pricing negotiations, vendor agreements, promotional programs, vendor funds and product support.
This could also include developing new sources where suppliers are inadequate.
Some travel will be required to audit facilities, meet with vendors, and attend trade shows or continued education opportunities.
Qualifications
Strong computer skills including being proficient in Microsoft Excel being able to build pivot tables and formulas.
Excellent analytical abilities to be able to review facts and use problem solving skills to make educated decisions.
Build strong internal and external relationships focused on value creation.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives with little or no supervision, and meet deadlines.
Adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, or requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong negotiation experience
Ability to be a team player.
Excellent time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Strong attention to detail and organizational/project management skills.
Experience interacting with and presenting to top-level management
Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or other related Procurement field.
Certifications in a related supply chain or business field may be eligible for substitution of related degree requirements.
5+ years of experience with private label and/or product, including brand development, go-to-market strategy, and supply chain management
