Buckman provides its solutions through four business segments: KEY RESPONSIBLITIES Drives change and creates support for digital initiatives/solutions by building credibility with the regional leadership.
Uses expert knowledge to effectively gain buy-in and drive support for needed digital outcomes.
Sits in the digital leadership team as the voice of the region to advocate for the unique needs, requirements and opportunities of the region; Likewise, provides clear communication on digital execution during the regional leadership team meetings to represent the global digital voice in the region.
Ensures that digital work in the operating companies is done in alignment with the global digital team to leverage global best practices for efficient regional execution and minimize duplication of work.
Contributes to the development of the global digital strategy and ensures alignment with regional needs.
Coaches regional or business unit teams on global alignment, stage gate process and project prioritization to ensure that knowledge and practices are successfully shared, learned and leveraged.
Ensures voice of the region is heard by soliciting and championing ideas for digital initiatives (Connected Selling, Digital and Chemi-digi Innovation, Equipment needs) to drive profitable growth, improved cash flow, and productivity.
Ensures up front engagement with regional leadership team and with the rank and file Sales and Operations associates to get feedback on digital initiatives.
Helps connect the dots globally by collaborating with fellow RDEM’s and brings innovative digital and equipment projects to the phase gate process or to Connected Selling.
Collaborates closely with regional stakeholders on the one hand and Global Strategic Marketing Managers and Digital teams.
Plans and executes launch, roll-out, training and compliance with digital initiatives Ensures proper change management is executed regionally for planned product/service roll-out including plans for sponsorship, communication, reinforcement and training.
Is responsible for the execution of all communication, reinforcement and training in the region Collaborates closely with Digital Solutions Management Leader and leads regional initiatives for standardization, Digitization, and Globalization initiatives, branding, regulatory compliance, supply chain coordination (Make Vs.
Buy decisions, establishing strategic suppliers) and support issues for related to Equipment.
Works with CSE operations leader to support the training of CSE operations staff in the installation, commissioning, start-up and servicing of standard digital and equipment offerings during the phase gate process.
Is responsible for working with GSM and Sales Managers in the region to build the Yearly Digital Innovation Installations Forecast and track it month by month Ensures that all digital effort in the region is transparent and visible and collaborates with global team to issue appropriate communication to all regional stakeholders (vision, key initiatives, launches, success stories).
Works with the GM and CDO to help create metrics for digital success in the region and owns reporting of these metrics on a monthly basis in a digital dashboard and acting in a data driven manner Is accountable on achieving feature success KPM’s on the region Works with the CDO to help create the regional prioritized set of digital initiatives, commitments and digital budget Takes ownership to funnel new innovation ideas through the phase gate process Works effectively with R&D partners, digital associates, Digital Solutions Management Leader, regional CSE team, digital platform launch specialists, Strategic Marketing and sales to deliver effective digital solutions.

or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering /technical field plus 5 years of experience OR M.

in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering/ technical field plus 3 years of experience SKILLS Advanced MS Office skills, ability to conduct data analysis and draw data-driven conclusions Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced Reasoning – ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions Strong Presentation Skills - Able to effectively present information to regional management.
