Job Summary: The Retail Sales Marketing Manager Senior Consultant is responsible for ownership of local marketing activities for a given geography including but not limited to field planning, scheduling and executing local and corporate marketing events, promotions and business driving activities and creating, executing, managing and tracking activities and results of new store opening business driving plans.
This role will also market daily to local dealerships and other business partners to build presence in the marketplace and increase new business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Works with Sales leadership to plan local marketing strategy and outside marketing activities Calls on local dealerships and other business partners to build relationships and increase referrals Mines, organizes and manages local events within the community and will analyze ROI Spearhead B2B partnerships with focus on expanding brand awareness Works to proactively sell to local businesses within the assigned region and monitor account activity to produce desired results Tracks event results and continuously builds a list of events with the best return on investment Works together with marketing to manage local social pages Produces monthly marketing newsletters by collecting information throughout each month Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have supervisory duties Preferred Qualifications: Education and Experience High School diploma or GED 3+ years of experience preferably in grass root marketing efforts Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None Functional Skills Knowledge of effective community marketing, event planning, and local level advertising avenues with prior experience creating, implementing and managing such programs Demonstrated successful business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales/marketing experience Strong customer service orientation with experience providing ongoing product servicing/account management Ability to build relationship with key decision makers, community leaders and business owners Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to present to both small and large audiences Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Travel will be required throughout the area to complete marketing activities and events #LI-CH1 Total Cash Compensation (TCC) range for this position is from $52,500 and $65,600* per year based on experience and qualifications.
The low end of the TCC range includes base pay of $44,600 annual and performance-based incentives of $7,900 at 100% of sales targets.
The high end of the TCC reflects base pay of $55,800 annual and performance-based incentives of $9,800 at 100% of sales targets.
*Incentive payments are not guaranteed and are governed by the terms of the applicable sales bonus plan which is subject to change at National General’s discretion.
