The Market Manager will provide guidance and training in consultative selling for our store teams.
You will travel the market of this five-store franchise, primarily in the Memphis, TN area, on a daily basis providing training to team members in person through one-on-one and team training.
Using your customer service skills, you will influence store team members and train them through coaching scenarios, measure sales progress through metrics and reporting, and lead new sales initiatives.
As the Market Manager, you will focus on delivering top-tier service to customers and get store teams to follow your example and guidance.
Your results will show through retail and overall revenue increases.
Responsibilities
* Influence and train Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Store Associates to achieve desired selling metric standards and sales goals
* Become a subject matter expert in key areas of the business and be able to guide and teach those areas to team members
* Role-play in-store customer interactions and over-the-phone selling scenarios
* Coaching and training to generate in-store commercial business leads
* Work with Store Managers on coach-the-coach scenarios and provide feedback and action plans to them for improving team results for their stores
* Lead and facilitate change management as it relates to sales and upselling
* Partner with company leadership to identify growth opportunities and bench building
* Measure the progress of stores and team members through key selling metrics and daily sales reports
* Participate in associate progressive improvement planning
* Assist in daily operational tasks of stores and assist Operations Manager with projects
Qualifications
* Experience in leading and coaching a team to achieve KPIs
* Passion for sales and demonstrated selling success within a retail selling environment
* Process-oriented with the ability to execute company operations processes
* Successful track record of developing others
* Demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority
* Valid drivers license

Pay: $42,000.
