Summary
The Formula Tech is responsible for preparing and delivering all infant formula.
Adheres to all sanitary regulations and standards established by LBCMC and regulatory agencies.
Responsible for safe and effective operation of equipment needed to prepare infant formula and maintain sanitation in the preparation room.
Completes formula orders and temperature records.
Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented.
Mathematical proficiency required.
Basic mathematical proficiency to include: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and calculation of percentages.
Key Job Responsibilities
Assists with cleaning equipment as assigned.
Prepares and assures delivery of all breast milk and infant/pediatric formula as ordered.
Inventories, stocks, and orders supplies to maintain sufficient par levels.
Calculates new formulations of standardized recipes and obtains verification of those formulations with the registered dietitian responsible for the nutritional care of that patient.

Must have good balance and coordination.
