*Zone Manager Job Overview:*
The Zone Manager is responsible for effectively managing the Managers and all operational functions of the facilities they have been assigned.
Accepts full responsibility for results.
Their assigned facilities must provide and maintain a 98% service level.

The Fresh Start Zone Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our facilities.
Zone Manager must provide effective communication and leadership ability with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
They are responsible for developing a diverse, high-performance team that delivers Fresh Start goals and reflects its values.
Adequate cost controls should be utilized to ensure financial performance is intact weekly.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* *Supervision and Leadership* Manage and lead a team of cleaning staff, supervisors, and other personnel.
Manage staffing levels to meet client demands and ensure proper coverage.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
Assist with the recruitment, interviews, and hiring of Front-Line Team Members, reflecting the diversity and culture(s) of the community.
Provide consistent accountability for overall operations staff ensuring documentation through training reports, coaching, weekly huddles, and complete monthly performance reviews.
Knowledge of and provides input on final approval on hiring and discipline of site team members.
Engaged with development programs to involve and retain team members.
Provides developmental coaching and guidance for long-term career growth opportunities to all direct reports.
Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient coverage and completion of cleaning duties.
Conducts regular weekly team member meetings (Huddle) with direct reports to review and discuss Status and open issues.
*Quality Control:* Conduct monthly inspections to ensure that all areas are cleaned according to established standards.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet or exceed cleanliness expectations.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to cleaning performance.
Implement and enforce dress and hygiene protocols.
*Cost and Inventory Management:* Attendance compliance (proper clocking, schedules, points and overtime) Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
* Supplies (receipts, inventory, storage and pilferage) Coordinate with management to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of cleaning supplies.
*Safety Compliance:* Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all staff members follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment appropriately (Proper wearing of PPE, Unsafe Acts & Unsafe Conditions).
Report and address any safety hazards promptly.
*Communication:* Problem resolution is addressed and resolved (any issues or complaints from clients or staff promptly).
Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns.
Provide positive and appropriate leadership, supervision support, and feedback to all direct reports.
Troubleshoot and find solutions to operational challenges.
Communicate effectively with janitorial staff, addressing concerns, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.
Maintain a fully engaged high-performing team.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities and special projects and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality cleaning services.
*Training and Development:* Organize training sessions to keep staff updated on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.
* Ensure Manager’s secure sign off from janitorial staff Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall service quality and client satisfaction.
Resolve elevated client concerns; conduct on-the-spot coaching to prevent them from reoccurring.
Ensures safety and all OSHA standards are met for all employees and clients.
* * * Bloodborne Training & Kits (at sites) * FL Certification * Others *Operations & Budget Management:* Develop and implement cleaning schedules and plans for different clients and locations.
Assist in the development and management of the janitorial budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on the quality of cleaning services.
Monitor and manage the day-to-day cleaning operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate with clients and staff to schedule cleaning services at convenient times.
Managers will ensure that appropriate measure and processes are in place to hit financial targets set forth by the company.
* Manage clock punches daily * Meet daily quality expectations * Must ensure timely accurate punches daily and weekly are sent in.
The Manager must maintain work rules to ensure daily performance goals.
Meet with Mangers weekly to review the following: * Concerns * Issues * Needs (beyond SOW) *Documentation, Planning and Analysis:* Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, and inventory.
Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis to track performance metrics.
Maintain and complete weekly calendar of activities and events.
* Utilize calendar Conduct weekly audits via Compuclean and make necessary adjustments to maintain 98% service level.
* Must ensure corrections and re-audit any scores less than 98% the next day * Identify and plan execution of improvement plans.
* Provide input and report on weekly performance results to improve daily performance.
Maintain performance reviews (management) for each team member.
