Reports To
Reports to the Chef.
In the event of the Chef’s absence, reports to sous-chef.
Job Overview
Prepares all dishes using recipes and proper portions
Accurately prepares tickets in a timely manner by communicating, organizing tasks, and teamwork.
Meet or exceed ticket time guidelines
Monitors the quality and consistency of food
Effectively set up, restock, breakdown and clean stations and equipment
Assists with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen
Is flexible and able to deal with special orders in order to please the guests
Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude with co-workers
Performs additional essential duties as requested by Chef or Restaurant Manager
All other duties assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in related food and beverage
Has the ability to work effectively and within a time limit under pressure
Ability to use slicer, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc
Background Check required before hiring
Physical Requirements
Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull to move objects
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
