Kitchen Lead

Biscuits & Jams in Bartlett, TN is looking for one kitchen co-lead to join our 16 person strong team.
We are located on 5806 Stage Rd.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities *Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service *Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation *Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times *Working with the Executive Chef and co-Kitchen lead to maintain the restaurant menu *Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels *Creating schedules for all kitchen staff *Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff *Tracking kitchen areas of potential waste *Ability to work all areas of the kitchen (i.
e.
sauté, grill, flat top, expo, and prep) Qualifications *At least 5 to 6 years in cooking (back of the house) experience and at least 2 years of kitchen lead experience *Able to meet all scheduling commitments *Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs *Strong attention to detail Perks *Gratuity Tip Pool share *Health Insurance Available *Waste Management and Inventory Management Bonuses Available We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Compensation is $14.
