Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Room Inspector to join our team.
The Room Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our guest rooms, ensuring they meet the established standards of the SpringHill Suite Hotel.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
*Work Schedule: This position may require flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the hotel's operational needs* Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and adherence to hotel standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to maintain consistent and high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Report and document any maintenance or repair issues discovered during inspections.
- Train, mentor, and provide feedback to housekeeping staff to enhance performance and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping manager to develop and implement effective cleaning procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
- Address guest complaints or concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a housekeeping or room inspection role is an asset.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
Light work – exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 40 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
