Job Title: Starbucks Lead Barista Full Time Non-Exempt Supervisory Role Summary:This is a Starbucks Lead Barista position with a franchisee - Wellengood Partners Group , which is also a franchisee of The Westin hotel brand.
This position is not a Starbucks corporate company role.
This position is hired through a franchisee of the Starbucks corporate company.
Contributes to store success by ensuring service experience standards are met and surpassed at all time during the shift.
An additional component of this job is to assist the store manager with daily operating procedures such as maintaining quality store operations, promoting beverage and product sales and supervising associate development.
Key Responsibilities: Develops Enthusiastically Satisfied Customers all of the time • Welcomes and Connect with every customer • Demonstrate “Just Say Yes” behavior by taking care of the customer needs Maintains Quality Store Operations • Assists store manager in hiring new associates • Coaches new hires through their learning • Follows and directs others to follow store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station • Ensures all company polices, store operating standards and procedures are communicated effectively, maintained and followed in consistent manner • Organizes work throughout store in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products • Performs and directs others to completed the cleaning and operational tasks in accordance with the store Duty Rosters • Follows and directs others to follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products • Places orders and performs special projects to assist with shift operations • Assists in store scheduling and adjusts staffing to meet store and business needs Financial Contribution • Contributes to store goals for increasing sales • Assists store manager with accounting and banking responsibilities • Records and is accountable for store funds while running a shift • Ensures all cash handling and cash register functions are performed in a accurate and consistent manner • Maintains some accountability for store operations, associate development and promoting beverage and product sales • Ensures the proper types and amounts of material, supplies and merchandise are ordered and stocked.
Effectively communicates new product information to associates.
Qualifications: • Previous 1 year experience working as a supervisor in a food industry or customer service related environment • Previous 1 year experience as a Starbucks Supervisor and/ or Certified Starbucks Trainer preferred • Ability to work flexible hours ( Open/Close/Nights/Weekends/Holidays) • Ability to multi task • Ability to influence others positively to perform specified work duties • Good communication skills Schedules: Sunday through Saturday ( various days and shift times based off of availability) Holidays Pay Frequency and Benefits: Biweekly Pay Vacation Time Sick Time Holiday Pay 401K Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance eligible after company waiting period (Full time Employment Status Required) Employee Discount Flexible Scheduling Referral Bonus Program Location: 1 work location No Remote Work The Westin Memphis Beale Street provide equal employment opportunities and is a Drug Free Work environment.
